After months of searching for a hummer, my father and I recently purchased a hummer on eBay (1996 Hummer H1) for $40,000 on 2/20/20201. I was so excited not just for myself but my father who had been searching for a hummer for a long time. I just recently signed up to HF in hopes to learn more about the vehicle as I was expecting to receive one.The seller had 100% feedback rating and he provided me with a copy of the title as well as his license. I am currently in medical school in Grenada (St. George’s University) so my father went and sent a bank transfer to the seller on 2/21/2020. The seller told me that he would provide me with shipping information by 2/26/2020. I have not been able to get ahold of him since after he told me that he would provide me with an update on 2/25/2020. eBay usually has a $100,000 VPP protection for buyers that covers any incidents like these but they are saying that since I am currently out of the country for school, they are saying that they cannot provide the coverage even though my father is the buyer (located in Alabama) and he paid from his Alabama bank account and he was supposed to be the registered owner. We just used my Ebay account because he does not have one. I am hoping you guys can help me out as it seems eBay does not want to provide the protection they advertise. Thank you all and any advice would be appreciated!
You should have done more research especially since the listing states:

Listed in:
New Braunfels, Texas, United States
