...wait, which mind am I? Never mind.

My latest brainstorm regarding my garage -- My garage door opener pulls the door up only so far, leaving the final (lowest) panel of the door lower than the edge of the doorway. I'm going to install an extension to the opener track so that it can pull the door up farther. I think this will give me the extra <1" that I need.

Most Openers has a travel limit adjustment..Or have you already maxed it out in the up travel?

 

Yeah, it's adjusted all the way out to the end of the track. They make an 18" extension for the track that will let it pull the door further.
