Drivers window????

I had something like this happen to me a long time ago when I owned a (cough cough) vw. The power window motor failed and the dealer replaced it for me since it was under warranty.

I had this exact same problem. I took it to the dealer and they had to spend a week repairing 25 terminals in the right drivers door, and take all of the seats out to do that. Luckily it was covered under warranty. Apparently it was caused by corrosion.

I had the same thing happen to me. There is a fuse under the hood in the fuse panel that keeps blowing. When it does, the Driver window does not work but all others do. The keyless entry does not work also. I took it into the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with it...? I also have a problem with the rear passenger side window going up and down on its own? Sometimes I feel the car is possesed! lol
