Default Dealer/factory pinstripe question

I have my eye on a 2007 H3. It has a pinstripes on both sides and "Hummer" lettering. Does anyone know if these stripes are removable (decal), or are they painted on? I just can get past it, I dont like the look. If I knew I could remove it and buff it out, I may pull the trigger on this one as it has all the other options I want. Thanks!

Depends on who put them on. The only Hummer dealer in Denver has pinstripes painted on all their new trucks as a "trademark". I bought mine without pinstripes in OK City. You should be able to tell by looking up close. See if you can peel it off...

Thanks for answering. Im looking at it online at Carmax. I was hoping to not have to call them and have someone do a walk-around. But there is a chance its not painted on, so Ill probably have to. Just didnt want to waste my time to find out they are all painted on. Thanks!

I've seen both. But since you have the lettering on there as well, I'm betting they're vinyl. Just pull on one end and yank - will come off in a few seconds w/ no harm to the paint.

Just get the wife's hair dryer and heat up the vinyl. It will easily peel off.
