I have a 2008 H3 Alpha that is bone stock other than larger tires. I was wondering what would be the better purchase right now. A PCM tune or superchips programmer. I mainly drive on road and occasionaly tow several 4 wheelers. In the future I plan to add an exhaust and an intake.

 

I also have an '08 Alpha with the 285s on it and I got my Superchips Cortex tuner in yesterday. I will tell you that I did put a GM Performance cat back exhaust on mine about a month ago so mine is not completely stock. I hooked up the programmer last night, switched it to performance mode and then softened up the shift points and took of the speed limiter and all I can say is damn! I think I have unleashed a beast, I don't know what a stock H3 Alpha will run, but I did 0-60 in 8.2 secs. I'm gonna play with it a little more tonight and see what I can make it do.
