Default Cognito Idler Pivot Concern

Expertise needed:
Attempting to have the Cognito Idler Pivot installed using the DMAX gusset, but realized it would not if; DMAX acknowledges this issue as well. Therefore, I am left to purchase the shoddy Cognito Gusset. But here is my concern: Because installing it requires trimming portions of the frame in order for the idler pivot to fit, wouldn't that weaken the overall strength of that area? The gusset only addresses the side, and avoids reinforcing the areas that were trimmed. That would eventually sandwich in on itself, no?Thanks in advance

Never heard of what you are trying to achieve but I don't think I would cut any portion of my frame. Keep us posted on the outcome of your project.
