Post Chrome Removal Help

I'm new to this forum, so I hope I'm posting this question in the correct place. Anyway, we just traded for a 2003 Hummer H2 and I was wondering if there was an easy way to remove or cover-up the chrome on the side OEM mirrors and door handles? Do the chrome pieces on the front of the mirrors snap-off? If so, how and is there a smooth surface underneath? Does anyone know of a place that sells cheap black door handle covers and mirror covers? I don't want to paint the chrome if all possible but I just think the mirrors and door handles look better black. I guess I'm one of the few people that don't like a lot of chrome on a Hummer. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

You are not alone. There are MANY of us that don't like chrome.

You should try trading your chrome items with someone who has black ones and wants chrome. Use the classified section below.
