No way, you can't do it. you have to change the radio like I did.[:@]

 

Hard to believe that there is no way to put the radio into diagnostic mode so you can select a Eurpean setting to get even and odd frequency stations. It's basically a zero cost implementation for a company that wants to expand world wide sales. Did you try calling GM or Hummer Europe for help?

If this is not possible, send a letter to GM's local market president asking him why this was overlooked and how much credit he will give you for an EU version radio exchange!

 

The problem is that the FM radio search pattern select only odd frequencies, ie: 101.3-101.5-101.7.....

Here in France, as in most EU countries we have FM stations having odd and even frequencies, thus we are missing a lot of programms.I haven't found a way to change this pattern.

The reason is that, for the time being, GM doesn't import OFFICIALLY the HUMMER in Europe, the very few HUMMER you can buy here are imported either via GM Europe or via private importers but are US market specs HUMMER.

GM is just testing the various markets to decide in which of the EU countries they will OFFICIALLY import the H3 ( the H2 will NEVER be officially imported)

As you might have heard, GM has built a new HUMMER factory in South Africa wich will built the HUMMER H3 for all the non American market. This factory his now coming on line and we will start to see H3 built with EU specs. but that will not be before mid 07.
