Default Championship Edition ???

Anyone out there with a Championship Ed. running 305s or 315s on stock wheels?
If so is there any rubbing issues on the special edition fender flairs?

There are a couple of them out there running 35's with out issues. There are also plenty of overseas built H3 that use the same fender flares.

These are the E&G models:
If you are going to wheel you will either have to do some heavy trimming on the rears or remove them all together (rear) with 315s. HUNNER did the trim method and has not posted anythign bad about rubbing since teh trim. My buddy (Paladine71) had them with 315 BFG KM2s and he ripped off both rears while wheeling @ Rocks and Valleys.

I have a video somewhere where you can hear the tires grabbing them and rubbing/popping them off.

Here are some pix:
Driver side rear ripped off. The rest were hanging by the end of the days wheeling.

Mutaint,

Hunner & Paladine have E&G Classic fender flares which stick down a lot in the rear and use up clearance (the picture you posted shows it very well). The factory fender flares are not like this and lip over the body and don't affect clearance. Here is a poor picture but as you can see how the bottom lip sits pretty much flush with the bottom of the factory fender flares.

Sundown.....by the looks of your pic I'm assuming you bought your OEM flares and installed yourself. Mind if I ask where you got them and what they cost? Thanks

Yes I have a set of the OEM flares and set of the "export" mud flaps but they won't be installed until winter is over. I got them from my local Chevrolet dealer we get parts from. I don't recall exactly what I paid but I think it was around $375, maybe 400 for just the 8 flair pieces.

When I picked them up it looked a little something like this....

Flares unboxed

"Export" mud flaps

Few random flare pics

I also got "export" side marker lights and turn signals
