Im stuck on base in the middle of a parking lot.. i attempted to search but that function on this mobile site wasnt cooperating.. thankful for any suggestions or hyperlinks to where this has previously beem addressed... as i was backing out of my parking space when it got to the point where i needed to move fwd i put the gear selector in drive but it felt like it was still moving in reverse no matter what i did.. so i cut the engine and tried starting over so i put it back in park.. after i cut the engine and put it park it locked me in park and also wouldnt let me turn the truck on anymore (it doesnt turn over or anything almost as if a fail safe was activated)...things ive tried to help this issue was pulling the battery cable in hopes to reset something electrically.. didnt work.. i checked 2 fuses (they had something to do with the brake and gear selector if i recall).. none of these worked.. so i pulled the gear selector handle and depressed the "plunger" looling screw that alows you to manually move the selector to put it into neutral so i could put it back in its spot.. help would be awesome.. sorry if this is the oldest prob in the books..
