Cant engage 4 wheel low

I have a 2006 h3 hummer , and for some reason I can't put it in 4 wheel low, it'll go into 4 wheel high but not low, any recommendations on what it could be ? .... my h3 is a 5 speed manual if that helps ,

Is your Gearshift in neutral and are you moving 3-5 MPH?

i am in neutral but i am at a stand still. should i be moving a tiny bit?

Try it while moving 1-5mph. If that does not work you may need a new shift fork.
It is a known issue. The stock one in 06 was plastic. They make a metal replacement.

ok so i tried moving a tiny bit but no luck , maybe i do need a shift fork , i noticed it after my abs light came on , think it has anything to do with that?

ABS light on? Ahhh...
You can not shift in or out of 4lo with an ABS fault. Something in the BCM/PCM will not allow it.
Fix the ABS fault and you will probably be able to shift into and out of 4lo.
