Exclamation Does not engage reverse gear...

H3 2008, Adventure Pkg. Went wheeling yesterday... Just some basic dune bashing, nothing too fancy. On the way back, vehicle wouldn't reverse when I shift the lever to R. It moves slowly forward on (N) Neutral, (D) Drive behaves normal & (R) behaves like the tranny is in neutral. Just sits there and revs & nothing happens. Reached home being careful not to get into situations where I'm forced to reverse... Searched the forum & couldn't find anything similar. Anyone out there has had any such issues?

Had the same symptoms in my 2001 s-10 with the auto tans. Sunshell stripped out 2100.00 rebuilt transmisson at 57.000 miles Thats the reason the H3T has the manual trans.

I've got a 2006 h2 sut. Parked in parking lot space. Came out and started put in reverse. No reverse. Put in neutral to drift out of space and all other gears are fine. Put in reverse just revs up hit wont move. Goes to shop on Monday. Any ideas before I get there?
