Hello,

I am stumped. Recently the drivers side A/C would only blow hot air. The passenger side worked fine. Below are the steps I did.

a) Removed the bad blend door actuator. Opened it and had a cracked gear.
b) Checked the flappy thing moved correctly, then put it in position to mate with new actuator.
c) Installed new blend door actuator
d) Removed neg battery terminal (yes should have done 1st) and waited 10+ minutes. Reconnected and started the H2. Did not touch the controller.

Now the drivers side only gets cold air.

a) repeated the learning, pulled neg battery terminal, and this time the fuses to the A/C.
b) waited 10 mins
c) started - no change
d) Repeated a-b
e) only rotated key to acc....did not start
f) no change

Did this process several times.

Removed the actuator from the A/C housing. Repeated the steps above. I can see the shaft move but only from the center line to one of the side marks (see attached).

Could my A/C controller be bad? Any ideas?
