Like was said earlier in this thread. Just call ahead so that they can go ahead andorder it before you get there. It's a one day repair. Not bad and no money out.

I have this same issue. What is the standard warranty on 06 hummers? I have 85k miles so is it a recall or a warranty thing?

You're warranty is up and there's no recall. You can purchase new ones here: http://www.newgmparts.com/partlocato...layCatalogid=0

or save yourself some $$ and check eBay or craigslist. I found them one eBay for $50 each
