thanks for all the help, guys. from what i've read in the head/valve threads it definitely sounds like that maybe the issue [sm=sick.gif]. i may be one of the few 07s w/ this problem. i also saw a thread about a 'coil pack and plug' replacement...sound like its easier/faster to fix[sm=signs003.gif]. it just really sucks having this happen while out of town. i hope that if a loaner is necessary, then they don't have a problem w/ me driving it 650 miles back to dallas. ha!

dennis: i love my h3, but, damn, i just got rid of an unreliable ford to avoid these kind of problems...

LW: extended warranty, hunh? yeah, you've had great success w/ that . that's just what i want...another headache.

LikeIsaid D..Don't give up the ship yet..Feces occurs and maybe these are some simple (yet annoying) problems, that once they are worked out, you'll have smooth sailing here after...

Crap, I thought you were bringing it back to the DFW area.....That does suck having that happen far from home.

Well, hopefully you'll know in a few hours what their diagnostics show. Soon as you find out, you might want
to give Sewell a call and see what they can do to help you out. I have no idea how they would work a loaner
with another dealer.

Make sure they give you all the codes and/or diag report for your records.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out.

I've got my fingers crossed for ya.

If nothing else, maybe you can parlay your way into an Alpha----

I'm from El Paso....Did you go to red sands over the weekend?
Bravo Hummer has pretty good techs....They work on our H1's from work and have never had a problem with them.
PM me if you need anything while in town

dmb..for the record, the reason why I am fighting for this EW tooth and nail is BECAUSE many others have had success in getting one. And because they have promised me one from day 1. AND because I now have a file full of emails and letters of promise from them..I just don't really post about it anymore because I beat that dead horse to a bloody ragged pulp! LOL Is it an added headache? YEP! But, one I will just take extra advil for Good luck to you and I hope they make it right for you to get back home with as little hassle as possible.

when I mentioned the EW earlier tho, I had also forgotten that you 07'rs have nearly double the warranty that we 06'rs have.

Any updates? I have an '07 that I traded a Dodge for. I also bought my H3 to escape the problems I had on a fairly new vehicle. I would hate to see this one being a bad choice as well. I'm not real happy to realize that my steering shaft is popping like my wife's '04 Suburban. It's discouraging that these issues span so many years and modles while going unresolved.

SOB! just got the call from bravo. no compression in cylinder #3. he's pretty sure itsthe head/valve mess. apparently, this is the first 2007 (i love starting trends) that he's seen w/ this problem. that being the case, he has to call technical support tomorrow to find out what to do (i.e. its such a new problem, he doesn't even know what to do). as far as loaners are concerned, they'll set me up w/ a rental in town only...a lot of good that does me. talk about up **** creek w/ out a hummer. dang! he's guessingit'll be ready by friday afternoon at the earliest. i feel like im at the doctor's office again...[]. i seriously can't believe this is happening. i intentionally waited to buy an 07 (manufacturing date of 1/07) to avoid this. all i can say is wow...

logistics are my bane.

ok, a little good news. sewell is stepping up to the plate and providing a loaner for me in dallas. so, im going to just fly in. therefore, i dont have to worry about 30 hours of driving...only 10. im also thinking of hitting them up for the cost of my plane ticket for all of this hassle. its an added trip back and forth due to their product's quality. i'll keep yall posted.

thanks for all the support!

lil d

ps - i still love my baby 3...they all vomit every once in a while...
