I seem to recall someone on the forum indicated that you could get the stock H3 rims in black from the factory. Does anyone know if this is accurate? I have not seen that option being offered. I have a silver on order with the black stepguards, black fuel door, etc and thought the black rims might be the ticket. I really didn't want to deal with trying to find someone to powdercoat or paint them aftermarket.... thanks.

Has anyone ever found oem Black h3 rims, and if so what do they cost. I can't find them anywhere i found black chrome but that's not my bag, I just want 16" OEM black rims, to match everything else, my H3 is boulder gray with all black trim, tinted front windows, black brush guard, black cross bars, I have the roof mount fog lights the set with two lights, I need someone to put them on for me though I can't walk so dooing it myself is out of the question, I have a neighbor or two that could do it, so it will get done, I have a nav system added, headrest monitors, iPod hook up hidden in the glove box, just to keep it out of sight, I have a back-up camera, onstar, lo-jack, sunroof, garage opener in visor, black runing boards, it has tons of cool stuff so much its hard to remember it all, it blue books at $28,500 mainly due to low miles 12K I got it for $19,750, its the best vehicle we ever got, coming of an 18 year run or mini vans due to four kids its not hard to top, although they were all top of the line fully loaded vans.

Anyway hopefully someone knows something about the black oem rims, I'd ask a dealer but they never seem to give realistic prices, the running boards they wanted $700.00 I paid 250.00 and roof racks dealer prices are silly, eBay about 150.00 although hearing a dealer price does help on knowing what a good price is, I want black, not black chrome, and i don't want to paint mine blacxk or have them powder coated, one place said black chrome is 900 per rim without the center cap, hopefully the straight black isn't that bad, although they seem hard to find, so I don't know, they could be more. if anyone knows please let me know

 

$900 per rim is WAY out of the question. You can get nice 20"wheels for $200 a wheel. Black oem 16" wheels for 900 a piece... that has to be wrong. Maybe $90 each......

 

Just go buy a set of Ebay rims for $250 and PC them black. The Dealer ordered black rims were $1000 for a set of four last time I checked. I bought my rims for $200, PC'd them for $65/each, than sold my other rims. In the end the price is way cheaper than going to the dealer.....if you don't mind a little leg work.

 

bought my truck used, but it has grey matte finish rims, are these off of the tactical package?

 

Got a set of 5 stock rims and center caps for 80 bucks. Had them powdercoated just like I wanted them.
