Thanks, I'll definately make a thread about it when I get it done, but I want to get a brush guard for my rig first, so its going to be a ways off (maybe a month or so, I'd like to see a black h3x first)

 

If you do paint it and you are concerned with rock chips, find someone who installs the Xpel Clear Bra from 3M. I had my sides done with that to protect from brush scratches (and it works killer for that, I might add), along with getting the normal area covered. It comes in a big sheet, so the installer will have little trouble covering the grill. That will protect the paint, and you wont see it.

 

You might even get lucky and find a black H3X owner that would rather have more crome.

If you don't off-road much then gloss black is what your truck is screaming for. I still prefer the chrome though...
