every car in every junkyard has great wires of all sizes real cheap. might find good connectors on them. should solder splices or super crimp ring conn on them.

 

here is the best way i see to do new terminals, ugly but solid. the threaded bolt on the original conn is used to bolt thru the brass solid no squeezing bare copper wires. orig factory crimp not lost.

notice i discarded the clamp part!
