Do you folks in Michigan have farm and fleet stores?
I purchased both gfs and mine for both h3s there and they were the best ones they sold at the time. Platinum series. 3 years no hassle replacement. 7 years pro rated.
As batteries go they're pretty good. Exchange two or three times with no problems.
Under $99 for each one.

yeah, tractor supply or big r similar exchange. had one bad one,replaced, good for years now.

I purchased a Red Top Optima (N9925RED) from NAPA in 08/2009. It's still cranking, but the last cold morning here it groaned a little before the engine fired up. Now I can't find a replacement when using the H3 description at Optima. Did find a Optima Red Top 8025-160 as a possibility. Any recommendations?

h3 doesent require a super batt. i once ran mine with a small lawn tractor batt just to show it. any good grade batt works fine. my 6 yr old stock batt works fine..
if i need one ill just get the biggest that will fit in beside my 2nd backup!
