Backup Camera Interface for H3?

Backup Camera Interface for H3?
I've searched around for a true plug and play backup camera interface that will connect up with my GM GPS/Radio touch screen. There are a lot of backup systems out there, but not too many that will truely interface with the 2006 H3. At the moment I am using one of those $30 rear lenses and it works ok. It would be better to have a good backup camera.
Does anyone know of a good source to buy from? Any experiences with a backup cam?

RE: Backup Camera Interface for H3?
I only have experience with the Pioneer systems. They are very nice. something like a 160 degree field of view! But you would have to switch to the pioneer screen unit. You might be able to get one for a fair trade if you sold your GM nav system on ebay..those seem to be bringing quite a bit of cash.

Thanks... I'm going to try to stay OEM. The trouble is finding a interface that will work with it.
The only units so far that they came back and said "Yes it will work with my H3" is the VCI-X from PAC and the AVElectronic unit. Has anyone used any of these before?

I was looking at the PAC interface...this thread is pretty old....has anyone used these to date? It boasts being able to use the OEM nav system and convert it to a DVD player and install a back up camera....

In my last Hummer, I had a pioneer AVIC F900 with a Boyo License plate Camera, it was nice
I recently traded to a 2008 Alpha and it has the OEM Rearview Mirror that has the slideout monitor. Really Cool feature. Have you ever tried to find one of those on Ebay? I'm sure from the dealer it's crazy expensive. I keep my eye out on a used because I want to make sure I have a spare on hand for the day this one give out on me. I plan on keeping this Truck for a long time.

I have looked for one for the mirror with the camera - tried to get my dealer to trade my mirror out for one of those - they refused...
The ones I saw on ebay did not have the onstar feature... I'd really hate to lose that feature - (as I'm notorious at locking my keys in my vehicles)...
Whats a slide out feature? The ones I saw had the picture in the mirror once you put the car in reverse....
Can you send me a pic sometime?
