I installed a Tower Power II and had the same problem. I trimmed the rubber connector and that moved the air tube enough to clear the fan blade. Doesn't matter now, removed the clutch fan and went electric fans. Lot's of room now.

I put a throttle body spacer on my H3, it did yield about a 1/2mile gain in mpg, it also seemed like the mid-range power increased without stepping on the gas peddle more. The instructions on the box said that I have had to have a stock air intake system and a stock air filter. When I switched backed to the original air fitler from a K&N, I gained another 1/2mile. So for the $100 I paid for it and I gain 1 extra mile per gallon, I think it's somewhat worth it. Also the box claimed up to 4mpg gain. Maybe on some vehicles it did, but not mine. Remember it's only $100, did some people really expect a miracle...

huh interesting review. I wonder why better mileage with the stock intake setup? Thats odd. Either way, half a mpg is still brag-worthy. I've been debating for some time picking one up for the H3, and I think I may do just that.

I presume that you are asking about the fan conversion? Yes,dramatically. My h2 just seems so much lighter off the line and I'm not even pushing it. Felt like driving a diffrent vehicle. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny
