I had a similar problem with my EB pads. Those shoes can be adjusted!
Me thinks your service guy was too lazy to do it!

I just had the same problem with my H3 (2006 , 24,000 mi). A strange moaning sound coming from the brakes at very low speeds when coming to a stop. I ended up taking it to my dealership and they replaced all four rotors and all my brake pads. They said that there was excessive rust on the rotors and the pads had been worn / damaged due to this. I've had no problems since they replaced everything.

i have to agree with doc olds. my 06 does the same thing but just when i apply heavy pressure with my foot at the very end of the stop. it sounds like grinding brakes but i looked thru the rims and dont se any sign of that kind of ware. i would go with the t.s.b. doc found online.

I have the EXACT same problem. They tried to fix it with metallic pads but it's still there.

Just took my '07 H3 in 3 days ago for the exact same thing.. the rear rotors needed resurfacing per the t.s.b. Haven't heard a noise since..

Someone PM'd me and said the issue would eventually return. How long have you been running the new brake/rotors?
