So I wake up this morning to find my drip system still running almost 4 hours too long with the side yard and street completely flooded. I see water pouring out from the rocks. I dug up the main line as I had used this side to branch off multiple drips for more oleanders.

Now I still need to figure out why the system is not shutting off. I can feel the solenoid click on and off when the timer is turned on and off but the water continues to run when it shows being off. That leads me to believe the solenoid may still be good but the diaphragm is bad? I also assume if I take out these 4 screws I will gain access to the diaphragm?
