The title says it all, I went to fill up this morning and I was slightly above empty and I had no low fuel warning?

I've heard it's about 2-3 gallons remaining, but that's not 100%. I've never let any of ours get low enough to see the light.

How many gallons did it take to fill it up? Subtract that from your tank size and that is how many gallons you had.

Oh alright, I wasn't aware it was just around 2-3 gallons. I still had about 5 gallons left.

Eh hem..... how far did you drive with the low fuel light on the Pennsylvania Turnpike an the way back from RC? Quite a ways if I recall.

Wow, I have not thought about that since I made it to the next fuel stop on the turnpike.
Haven't seen that light since.

My "Low Fuel" warning message consistently comes on at just a tad over 3 gallons left.

About 3 trucks back, I had a GMC extended cab and when that low fuel light came on you better be coasting on an off ramp into a gas station because it was on memories at that point. I actually did that off I75 one time, stopped right at the first pump after lucking out with the green light at the end of the off ramp.

Scary.

Never have seen it on the 3 yet.

I always keep my pump cool in the fuel, never go below 1/4. The pump has a greater chance of burning out when you run it low on fuel. It needs the fuel to keep it cool.
