The mount on my 10' Ht3 was so corroded that the white metal just broke away.Purchased new mount,cable,cap and Antennax short antenna.This is a easy replacement for those DIY's like me.The cable runs right top corner inside the glovebox.Just remove glovebox and pull cable apart from coupling.I removed right front wheel well splash shield to access rear of fender mount.Just remove and reinstall new mount through back of fender, passing cable into glovebox through opening with new grommet provided.It took all of about a half hr to do.DONT FEAR the task!
