Default Another Tire Question

I know a lot of you are running 315's but i want to stay with 285's. The question is should i get 305/70/16 or stay with the narrower 285/75/160? Height wise there about the same.

I had the same decision last week. Ended up getting the 305/70-16 Duratracs and couldn't be happier with my choice. The extra width looks awesome!
They stick out from the fender more then the 285's, so I went with the Championship Edition type fender flares with splash guards EG Classics Inc.: Products and they matched up perfect.

I spaced my rear tire carrier out with 1/4" thick stainless washers. Clears the 315s and 37s. Have you "clocked" your rear wiper. Makes a huge difference in the rear visibility.
