Hey all, I am helping out a friend and we are trying to replace the airbag on his 2003 H2.....
I am wondering if anyone has instructions on how to swap out the drivers steering wheel center air bag (or at least an exploded view of how it is all put together)

On the sides of the steering wheel there are two small holes After you have disconnected the battery, stick a small flathead screwdriver through the hole and push in, that will release the metal clip holding it in. Repeat on the other side.

 

Yep - easy as can be. Identical as on the GM trucks of the same years (can probably find a ton of pics and diagrams showing it exactly on the GM trucks).

You really do not even have to disconnect the battery - just pull the airbag fuse. That way you do not have to reprogram all your radio stations, clock, etc...

 

Mix, what fuse will I need to pull?
