4x4 Tire rotation = How often should you do it?

 

Preferably, every oil change! You will get maximum tread life from your tires and they will all wear out uniformally!

I got 70K out of my tires that way and I wheeled em alot!

 

Same, every oil change which is about 9000-10,000 miles. I use Mobil one synthetic. This works out rather nicely because you do them both at the same time.

 

We rotate every 5000 miles with the oil/filter change on every on road vehicle we own.
Our HUMMERs get rears to the front and fronts get X'd to the rear.
As amrg said, extends tread life and overall smoothness of the tire tread (no cupping)!

 

I do a 5 Tire Rotation at 4K and generally get 60K out of set. I don't go until they are totally worn out Two sets of the OEM 285 Bridgestones and working on my KO'2s now.

 

Every 5k X pattern:

 

I rotate the tires every time I drive it. They go round and round until I stop.
