Does anyone know if the air filter has been changed from the 2007 H3 to the 2008 H3. I wanted to get a K&N filter and was told it was different. The 2007 is circular and the 2008 is flat?!?

What high performance filter is available now and can you feel any difference in performance?

I have the K&N. It helps, but I cannot tell you there is any seat of the pants feel with just the filter in a 3. IMO the filter is the weakest link, and we've speculated that just a filter upgrade might be 2-4 HP +/- ????

 

I'm guessing the 07 and 08 3.7L are identical.

 

Great Guess, but....................apparently not. Fram and K&N show no part number for the 2008 H3, same with the Alpha???? Oh Hummer Mike............PART NUMBER please!!!

It only takes but a couple of minutes to open your filter box and look. The '07 is barrell shaped.
