My wifes 06 h3 tore its front passenger side outer cv boot. I want to go ahead and install a reman front half shaft, but I am having some difficulty locating one at the local parts stores. They have a part number for the axle but can not get them in stock.

Does anyone know any company online that has front axles?

hmmm, i got mine replaced under warranty for both sides

 

we are no longer under warranty. dealer wants 300 an axle.

 

try www.rockauto.com I have purchased a lot of parts from them in the past and have had good luck.

 

I just replaced the CV on my 06 to the tune of $320 for a new CV and axle tube seal. And that price was at dealer cost. Good luck finding reman parts for this truck--or any front end parts that don't need to come from the dealer right now.
I talked to an H2 owner, and from what he tells me, the CV's for the 2's are $50 a piece new from any parts supplier--it's a standard 3/4 ton Chevy truck part. Yeah, ouch.
