Default 2006 H2 Nav will not working when vehicle is moving

2006 H2 Navigation system will not work when vehicle is moving, only when it's at rest - Works fine when stopped.

Does anyone know what setting to change or other suggestions?

Thanks,

Rob

Its a safety feature, at least I'm assuming. None of the vehicles I've had with nav would let you mess around with it while moving to prevent you looking down and playing with the screen when you should be looking at the road.

Yelp, the NAV sense when the vehicle is moving via the VSS wire.
You can wire in a switch that turns it off and off if you are inclined.
I am 99% sure its the '05s and up that have the VSS wire.
'04s and down are not so lucky.

I hope this works...

Thanks guys...When I originally bought it, I was able to adjust / enter destination while the vehicle was moving. At some point, it stopped. I don't know why. I will try adding a switch.
