I am looking at a Parrot 3200LS bluetooth hands free car kit to pairwith myiphone for hands free while driving. One of the features offered is to run through radio speakers if the factory radio has the ability to mute during phone calls. None of the local installers are familar with the 2007 H3 so they can't tell me if it will work until we tear into the system. Does anyone know if the radio in the 2007 H3 has the capacity to mute? Mine is the low end radio, single disc, not Bose. Thanks.

onstar does it but i think it uses the databus to tell the radio to mute. no wire to connect the parrot to. Someone more knowledgeble with onstar should chime in here.

Generally when you are talking about hands-free speakerphone devices the bigger the speaker the better. It's not always the case but small speakers generally will have that "tin can" sound while larger speakers will be able to reproduce lower notes.
