Hey guys, I'm looking into buying an 06 H3. The particular one I looked at and test drove today is everything I want, however the 4low lock button doesn't seem to work. The button wouldn't press inwards at all, almost like the plastic was fused that way from the factory. Am I missing something here or is it possible that someone tried to disable the button because of some underlying issue?

 

Somebody spilled pop/coffee/juice on the dash and goobered it up.

If it at a dealer, tell them to clean and fix it. If it is a private sale, ask it
you can pray it with electrical contact cleaner, wipe off excess, and let it dry before you start the truck.

Might want to read a Owner's Manual (they are on line free to see) about how the buttons work. You can't just ***** nilly push buttons.
