Default Door Lock Button Question

Does anyone's power door lock button light up? Neither of mine ever have, and its annoying at night someone because I still can't seem to remember which side is lock and unlock. Yes, I acknowledge the fact that I'm half retarded.

I really don't know. I've never noticed it, so I'm guessing that it doesn't.

I'll check next time it's dark outside.

I don't think it has anything to do with any amount of retardation, because each car company seems to do their own thing.

However, on GM cars they have standardized this one pretty well among vehicles with the rocker lock switches.

Next to the door panel un locks
Next to the seat (driver or passenger) locks.

Now you don't have to look anymore.

Yeah, I've been trying to learn get it straight, but I'm in and out of so many different vehicles and half the time it seems to just be absentminded muscle memory, the kind of action you don't actively have to think about in order to do.
