We have a Gander Mountain Store only a few minutes away from my house which is OK but the best store of all is Cabalas which is about an 8 hr ride from here in Hamburg, Pa. and worth every mile of it! I stop at Cabals around every 4 years when I go to Wilkes-Barre to re-new my Pa. non-res. pistol permit. Cabela’s sells everything you could ever need for fishing, hunting or camping and a million other related products. If Cabela's had a store in my neighborhood, I'd volunteer to work there for free.

 

I've shopped at that Cabela's.... They have a biggass Onan Generator outside...

i didn't have enough time to stick around for a tow truck, but even if i did, there's not a chance in hell of me letting one of those careless thieves hook anything up to my rig unless it's already totalled.

and yeah, REI is an outdoor store. it's great, but i agree - Cabela's is light years ahead of them in terms of variety. there are no firearms/knives/archery items at REI.
