sounds like you treated the situation appropriately. there's little point in engaging these people, most of the time they're just looking for something that pisses them off...and are a complete waste of time.

Most of the people that do that kind of thing want to remain anonymous because they don't have the ***** to say anything to your face. Would have been interesting to see if the tow truck driver would have towed you from a legal space.

I think I would have waited to see if they actually called a tow truck and then if one did show up I would have called the police to report someone was in the process of stealing my truck! They cannot tow away your truck if it is parked legally. Was that a Wal-Mart store?

3 you are correct. I missed that part about the REI store. BTW what is an REI store? We don't have them in my part of the country.

 

They are a member store that sells outdoor hiking, camping, climbing type stuff. There is one about 10 miuntes from me that I am in all the time. Bought a pretty cool car mount for my GPS Map 60 CSX, water purifier. hiking shoes and head lamp there Sunday. Great stores.
