Old guy with a new (to me) H2
Greetings!
I recently purchased a 09' H2 LUX from a great couple up in Montana. The rig runs shockingly well for something with 180k on the ticker. I plan on doing a few modifications imminently before I drive it home {Cabo).
I guess we'll start with that, at least I can say I introduced myself

First I'm ditching the 35's on 20" wheels for either 37's or 38's on 17' or 18" wheels. From what I've been reading a set of "green keys" and 2" coil spacers in the rear will help with that.
Most importantly I need to put a shopping list of things I may need in the future to acquire stateside and bring down with me. You can't just pop in the the local auto parts store here and expect they'll have what you need. I imagine It's a lot like it was 50 years ago up in the states.

Green keys and the required tool to replace them safely have been ordered. Arrival is on the 1st
Now time to calculate what size spacers I'll need for the rear springs. This is a luxury edition H2 but it appears the previous owner removed the air suspension to installed coils and shocks. Though not what I wanted to hear, this makes my decision on how to lift the rear an easy one.
I'm assuming all the Lux editions came with air from the factory?
The goal is to fit 38's....
All this has to be completed prior to my trip home to Cabo on the 14th LMAO

Maybe old for Mexicans?

BORDER BRIEF: The “Trump Effect” is Here
I just joined the forum and saw your intro. I used adjustable keys on my Tbars and changed the air to springs in the back with 2 inch spacers to give it an even stance with the front turned up high as can go with stock limitations. The adjustable keys make it easy to change heights.
