I’ve already lovingly named him Nemo. Hopefully I’ll have him here sometime next week but I’m hiring haulmatch.com so we will see how that works out. I can’t find a better deal at less than $1100. Photos are from the inspection I had done on Friday. 😊
Right on!!!
I've used haulmatch in the past and they were really easy to work with. I just ended up paying like 5 days in late fees before a driver ended up picking it up.
How did the inspection go? Did they say it ran and drove?
I'm hoping everything works out. It sure is a cool looking h3t

It cranked and turned over without any weird noises but he couldn’t get it started, which doesn’t surprise me after sitting for the entire year. I’ve been working on cars since I was 15, so I plan on getting it running and cleaning it up myself, but towing it to a friends shop if there are transfer case issues etc. (which I’m pretty much expecting.)
I’m also an electronics tech for a living but I haaaate working on car electronics. Hoping for the best with the interior components. 😂
Also, the damage I could see in the photos to the roof appear to be limited to the front plastic strip with the lights on top, I’ll attach a photo. Thoughts on this would be appreciated!

Probably the person that started this thread and said not to bid against her because she was buying it. 👀
You got a great deal! I was only in for a flip, and didn't press your price since it would have cost me around $5k for shipping, fees, tax, just to get it to me + my time involved to restore. Not worth my time, considering it's tough to get premium resale with a salvage title. When you get it, change the oil/fluids, gut/clean the interior, and don't forget to clean/seal the contacts(start with the ignition switch/passlock failure=no start)

I don’t feel like I got a good deal, I went at least 6k over what I wanted on this truck with all of the unknowns.
Are any of you guys the bidder from Oregon? He cost me a substantial amount. 😂🤪
haha love that you picked out that quote because the incredibly clean under body was my motivation to keep bidding. Looks substantially better than the majority of Alphas people are paying over blue book for right now! 😂
He’s home!!
Upon initial inspection everything seems to work in the interior and I don’t see any signs any water ever came inside. The mud up front is transfer post-flooding. Presumably by whoever was towing it. It rolls freely. It cranks and sounds fine but wouldn’t start. I didn’t work on it long because it was delivered late and I didn’t want to disturb my neighbors, but the intake wasn’t clamped on so I did that, tightened the battery terminals, but everything else appears fine. I’ll work on actually getting it started in the morning. I did observe this hole that appears to be previously taped over. What originally went here?

I’ll post more tomorrow.
Remember, spark and fuel. Good luck on getting her started!
