Hey all! Looking to purchase my first H2. Prices seem to be all over the place with some asking crazy money, and others very low. What should I look for besides the obvious undercarriage/frame rust and accident report? Willing to travel just about anywhere for the right rig/deal. Thanks!

 

there are 2 generations of the h2
gen 1 is 03-07
6.0 liter 4 speed transmition
and gen 2 is 08-09
6.2 liter 6 speed transmition.
thats why the prices vary. depends on what generation it is. newer a bit more older a bit less.

 

Thanks for your response. I am aware of the two gens. I am speaking about huge price fluctuations for same year similar mileage. I know condition plays a huge role, but to what extent? Here to learn more about these great vehicles and what to look for when inspecting/purchasing. Thanks!

 

i guess it boils down to how bad someone wants to unload it. and weather it is a private seller or a car dealer with markups.

so far i have been able to mange repairs on my own. only time it sees a shop is for it's yearly state inspection.
