Default Spare tire question. Also, free stuff.

Long time admirer, first time owner. 09 H3T Alpha.
Glad to be part of this group and learn more about my truck every day. First a question:.How big of a tire will fit under the bed in the spare holder? I have 295 75r16s all around and would like the spare to match, but wondering if the extra diameter will fit underneath.
Also, and apologies if this is the wrong channel, I'm giving away three OEM rims with very badly flaking chrome. Definitely needs refinishing. Free for the taking if you can pick them up in Connecticut. Thanks, great to be here!

I have 315's all around, including a previously used one as a spare that replaced the old factory spare. It fits fine under there, but obviously hangs down a little farther than stock. There's a post on here somewhere with a pic of a 315 as a spare, where I think someone commented that they'd probably remove it for "serious" off-roading. I don't believe mine hangs below the chunk, but it's close.

I've had 315/75R16 and 305/70R18 under there on my T. Both are considered at 35 inch diameter tire. That's about as big as you can fit. I don't think a 37 inch will fit.

Show us some pictures of your H3T.

A 35" tire regardless of the wheel size will "fit". Larger 315s (Toyo) will take a bit of coaxing and maybe some finesse but it will fit.
Welcome to HF, nice T!
