Hey all, I finally picked up a h3t.. It however, was rusted and did not have a spare tire hoist. I'm seeing that the spare tire hoist for the most part has been discontinued. Does anyone know if a different vehicle hoist fits the h3t? And what size bolts will be needed? I've tried searching this site and google to no avail. Do you have a part number you could share?
Just some info if interested:
In the 3 weeks I've owned it I've so far had to replace the two front wheel assemblies and the parking brake lever. The rear wheel hubs need fixing, but I suppose the only parts sold are the bearings so I'll change that plus the calipers all around. Hopefully that fixes the parking brake issue, but it may need to have the rear lines replaced.
I got a great deal on some bridgestones so I took it and brought the wheels back to stock. Previous h3t owner had some "fun" wheels and economy tires. The upper steering shaft needs to be replaced ASAP as i hear popping and can feel it in the pedals. No more highway driving for me until fixed. I've sanded down the rust and coated it so nobody can tell it was a northern vehicle!
Its been a nice project and I got it at a great deal. It's going to be my daily driver (but I don't drive much). Happy to finally have the T.
I removed that 2 weeks after I bought our T in 2012. I went to 37s quickly and only a 35" or below will fit underneath.
I may have it in my HUMMER Parts storage.
It should be the same as any COLORADO/CANYON/SILVERADO/SIERRA of that era. Pretty sure HUMMER didn't redesign that for a 2 year production run.

That would be great, do let me know. I purchased a set of the 285 bridgestones (I like the stock look) so I imagine it should fit relatively nicely under there.

TAINTER or echopark,
Has anyone confirmed if the spare tire hoist from the Colorado is compatible with the H3T? I went up to 35's and also removed my hoist as it was badly rusted. I have a 5th tire just sitting in the garage and it would be nice to put the darn thing on the truck! All the parts shops still show that part as discontinued. I was going to order one for a Colorado as TAINTER suggested, but wanted to make sure a 35 would fit...and yes, mud flaps coming off as I just found some fender flares I bed-lined this weekend. Vinyl wrap is next. Paint too oxidiated and buffing hasn't worked/lasted.

Your truck looks great!
I found this and ordered it. Hasn't arrived yet, hopefully it's what I need. I heard the stock hoist fits 35s so this should work fine.
