You also obviously do not know the definition of a "snowflake".

i personally think if your happy that is all that count's.
IMHO tho, I personally don't care for the number of clamps but if that is what you were able to do to solve your dilemma, I'm happy your happy.
I'm going to stay with the restrictive OEM intake.
As a side note: the current configuration will indeed ingest water. Just saw a recent you tube video (wrenching with Kenny) ... where an individual had a open air element which ingested enough fluid and hydro locked his engine. The best Kenny could figure was the issue arose from water puddles being splashed up during driving in rain.
I mention this because the area for air ingress is right at the fender hole. Yes, the drain for the rad overflow is also feeding to this location.
But I'm glad you're happy.
