When i did the 1" bodylift, this setup actually eliminates the rubbing on the upper rad hose from the oem intake.

 

I have mine mated to a Volant box. I had to cut the AirDoc down because the Volant is longer than the stock box and with some manipulation of the couplers I got the tube to completely clear everything. I was more worried of the pain getting rubbed off lol.

 

I had mine for a main reason. Visual Access to everything . Once you eliminate the oem intake you can see the hoses , water pump , belt , fan ,etc . Very easy to do a visual inspection of the front engine
