Default AIRDOC intake

Who is using the AIRDOC intake and how has it been. I like the concept/idea of using the stock air box with and their intake set up.

Also what for filter do you use with it?

I've been using the AirDoc since it was a prototype. I have the second one ever made.

I use it with the AFE filter.

It's nice. It fits with extra fan clearance unlike the K&N ones. It doesn't come loose from the TB like the AEM ones. Doc listened to every single complaint that we had about the H2 intakes and engineered around everything we didn't like.

It's a good product and the biggest things I have seen thus far is increased mileage according to the DIC lifetime average, and the instant reading. The second thing is the airdoc really helped the flat spot the H2 has when you step on the throttle at a lower RPM. It also really pepped up the response in the power band.

Here is another thread where I discussed a few of my thoughts.

and a couple pictures....

and make no mistake..... this is at least twice the clearance you will get with ANY other intake on the market....

Thanks guys. I will be placing my order this week. Will I need to purchase a performance MAS or is the stock one fine? Also in the next few weeks there will be a dynomax 4" cat back system added. I took the roof racks off today as many have said if you don't use them lose them.
I would like to know if anyone used a computer controller and which type. I am trying at a minimum to get my intown MPG in the 13-14 range and my Highway to 16-18 if this is at all possible. Any and all advice and help is greatly appreciated.

Les

What size dual alternators are those? I am running a single 250amp with dual Oddessy P1200 batteries and Blue Sea Marine 500amp ACR. Can you send me some pic of the right side of the motor? Batteries, alt, brackets and clearances? I was considering the Dual Alt but when single high amp and dual high current batts.

I'll keep it short at the risk of derailing the thread... I realize you guys have nobody here to help you anymore.... any other questions about my install please email me at muddydawg75@clubhummeroffroad.com

I run dual 250amp AD-244's The bracket is a simple take off a couple bolts and add some new bolts and bracket.

Nations auto electric has them up to 300amp and the kits... up to 4 alternators. I didn't use one of their kits.. I pieced it all together myself... for the headache and hassle... the kit is much easier. DO NOT buy the kits off of ebay. They are not complete.
I got the GM plugs from Gene at GMpartshouse.com

I used dual optima redtops. I used a Stinger 500amp Constant duty solenoid.. manually switched. I can jumpstart myself with this setup. If the main battery goes too low to activate the solenoid... then I can cable jumpstart myself. I used most 2/0 cables and Stinger SHT301 x 2 and Stinger SHT303 x 2 terminal ends.
