I can't unlock my doors. The key fob flashes the lights like it's trying to open my doors but it just isn't happening and OnStar isn't able to unlock them either. Any suggestions?

 

Check the key fob battery If okay or not otherwise take it to the dealership.

can you pull your battery negative? I assume no since you can't get in to pop the hood. lol. I would try to drop power as it seems like a relay is "stuck".

 

Have you tried the keyhole on the door?

Why can't OnStar unlock them?

 

I had a similar problem where the fobs wouldn't work, but it was intermittent. I took it to the dealership and they noticed my Garmin GPS and phone charger plugged in while they were running tests. They told me to unplug the accessories and see if the problem comes back. That was 3 weeks ago and it hasn't been a problem since. The service advisor said GM had a service bulletin out on this??

 

on a rare occasion my remote seems (is) dead,just minutes after using, then minutes later its fine again.
no answers.
