Will try that this weekend. Video made me have the face palm moment.

Thank you guys for the assistance cause I was not looking forward to find a replacement spare tire cable assembly.

we had to cut the one loose from underneath the bed on the 2011 RAM 1500. it would not come down nomatter what we did.

Since back in the 70's I've often had to use the gas wrench on those CHISLERS'

Since yours still rides on street tires and has never left the pavement, I could see why you would not bother with a spare.
