Default H3t

Hello all, I have an ‘09 H3T that is leaking gas when the engine is running and I was told by a trusted Indy today that it either needs a new fuel pump or fuel hose but that he can’t find either from any of his usual sources, (and he’s usually very resourceful), and that the dealer tells him the parts haven’t been made for 5 years. He said he is told it’s different then the H3 which he said parts are readily available for and went on to say that he could figure out a way to make another hose work but that in order to get to it he’d have to take out the tank and he doesn’t want to do all that in case it’s the pump not working, or leaking, then he’s going to have to charge me for all that labor and no part available. If there’s anyone that can shed any light on this I’d be very grateful. Thanks, Scott

Ahh, I replaced our fuel pump last year with a pump from Rockauto.
They have a BOSCH67791 or OEM Delco GM GENUINEM10224 for the H3T Alpha.

Tbd, it’s work in progress now. I had an Indy looking for parts for potential issues and TAINTER was very helpful with part a place and some #’s so that journey continues into next week but we’re on the right path now. Thanks. S-

let us know where the issue was and how it was fixed instead of the vague comments.

That way the rest of us for all eternity can know for future reference.

Quick question please, for clarity I have an H3T base, not an H3 or Alpha. Is the BOSCH part 67791 for the H3 or H3T? I’m told by my mechanic they are different. The H3 being a metal piece and H3T is plastic and that they are not interchangeable.

Thank you.

The pump I replaced a year ago was for the 2010 H3T Alpha (V8). The BOSCH part 67791 is for the 2010 H3T Alpha.

The I5 H3T pump is??? I dunno...
