Disconnecting power is merely a reboot and if the condition is present, the code(s)/CEL will reappear according to the parameters set in the PCM within so many minutes or cycles. Clearing codes with a scanner/code reader same thing without the reboot. It can turn off a CEL or turn off a code, but if the conditions are still present, they will reappear. Either way, the codes are logged in history until overwritten. Unplugging power, touching cables together, dancing barefoot by a fire, etc.. is not going to change that.

Dancing barefoot by a fire only works if you are swinging a chicken around your head at the same time!

May have to try this (actually looking at bi-directional now for about a week, not decided on model yet).
I did get battery terminals replaced (these ok? Pic included.).

Still have to look at wiring more. Also, vehicle appears to be driving ok, maybe little hesitation on acceleration at first, then ok.
However, seems new problems appeared. TPMS procedure will not work to relearn. Light stays on now.
Also key fobs will barely work with close range (standing at front doors only).
Battery new, just replaced right before working on vehicle.
Thanks again.

so rig drives ok, but you still have a ton of codes being thrown?

as far as your TPMS/key fob, try:

Yes, codes thrown and actually currently driving now as i answer. Have had one hesitation at 70 mph for approximately 60 miles. Actually riding, wife driving.
Earlier I followed that video but only took out antenna wire to clean and squeeze contacts. Will take entire BCM off probably tomorrow to check circuit board.

Yes, I am aware of risk driving with codes or just hoping ok. Never had transmission codes before, so I figure wiring , connectors , etc. Just have to find.

I have the same codes showing and can't find the issue. Had the gearbox rebuilt after it went caput. Now after I've been driving for 20 minutes give or take at 100km the torque converter won't kick in. Took it to a GM dealer and had the ECU,TCM,BCM all reprogrammed and still giving me issues. If you find out what your issue is that's thrown the codes, please share. I. Ant find a bloody thing. New solenoids, new gearbox, new torque converter Software reset and still issues.

the harness that goes down to the transmission and transfercace has been known to rub where it starts going down the engine near the bell housing/ head area. wires rub or break.
