Winch install, things I should know?

Hey everyone,
Thank you for all of the input. I greatly appreciate it.
I enjoyed my time on this forum, and I'm gonna miss this community. I ended up letting go of my Hummer, but I still have the winch. It's a WARN VR12000 and it's still brand new in the box the delivered it in. If anyone is interested in picking up a new winch, let me know. It's $679 new. Asking $550 + shipping. (DC/Baltimore area, it's 89lbs)
Again, thank you to everyone for the input, and all of the help with the other issues I had. This is a great community, and I'm sad to leave.
