What Tire pressure for the terrain

I have 285/75R16 load E
I was curious what the right pressure is for the tires. on the road and on dirt.
I have 07 adventure package. Door jam says 35psi

I run 38PSI for all paved roads.
At that pressure it does not trigger the TPMS in the winter time, when tire pressure drops
Off road, usually dirt, and steep hills I run about 15PSI

I keep my summer air psi low and pump it up to 38psi in the winter. Rides great all year round and the tires wear even.

thanks i think that is a good psi. I went down to that and seems like all the threads are on the pavement.
